where has the time gone?!

This summer has been nonstop!  It has been filled with so much fun and playing and my only wish is that it would slow down so I can enjoy every moment.  Also, I'd like it to slow down for the sake of my house not turning into a giant trash can.  Why can't I multitask and keep things in order when life becomes exciting and hectic?!  If you know the answer please let me know!

I've been in Hollywood for a bachlorette weekend, where I realized I can't keep up like I thought I could.  I was hungover from lack of sleep and eating everything in sight rather than from alcohol!  I'm getting old and having a baby changes the party animal inside!  We also went to see Tim Mcgraw in concert and it was the best time ever.  We danced and sang our hearts out and it was so good.  Letting lose is one of the best feelings, especially when it's with your love and good friends.  What else?  Just a lot of fun with Quinne and trying to keep the normalcy of her daily life in the mix of all our fun.

So, I've put up a bunch of pictures of our fun.  And, hopefully I stay on top of things for the rest of the summer!

Happy Monday friends!

Noelle

I'm the worst blogger, apparently.  I have missed WEEKS of this fun portrait project and feel like a total loser.  David asked me the other day if I had quit the portrait buisness and I didn't even know what he was talking about.  My mind has been in a million places all at once and I'm about to explode.  It's time to take a deep breath and calm down.

And to answer Davids question, I didn't quit and my next 22 weeks are going to kick ass.  Sorry babe!

kid things

One of the greatest things about being a parent is experiencing childhood all over again.  But this time around you are seeing it with a fresh pair of eyes.  Watching through your kids eyes is so much fun and makes you stop and appreciate the small things.  Like the way Play-Doh smells.  I love the smell and haven't smelt it in years! Thanks to Quinne and her ever growing imagination and curiosity I get to smell and play with the things of my past.

Play-Doh is her new favorite thing.  Along with cowboys and park.

>>tower of Play-Doh!!<<
>>she's smelling it too!<<

>>too much fun<<
>>a man, or bike or possible a dog went by<<

It's Monday, so here's to a great week!

Noelle

America!

Fourth of July is so much fun.  I guess all holidays are so much fun in my book!  Dressing up, food, days off together, more food, friends.  A recipe for a great day.  This year was so low key, I think it might have been my favorite so far this year.

Starting the day off with a parade in Cayucos with some friends, then eating huge burritos in front of mindless Netflix and ending the day eating ice cream in the park.  Oh, and Davids ridiculous patriotic t-shirt.

Perfection!  We are beyond lucky and proud to live in this country.  I'm happy to call it home.

our weekend in pictures(a lot of pictures)

Saturday morning started out with garage sale that was sadly unsuccessful.  Probably do to the fact that we had zero signs luring people to the house and that 89% of the stuff was my clothes, shoes and purses.  So if you didn't wear a size 8 shoes and wear small and medium clothes you were out of luck.  As all the men quickly found out.  Luckily I was at a wedding doing hair so I didn't have to sit in the hot sun and be bored to death.  Sorry David!

But the morning turned into a much more fun afternoon, and we were headed to our friends wedding.  I love love love weddings!  It's so wonderful to see your friends come together and tie the knot.  I always cry and look like an idiot, but I don't care!  Being married is fun and an adventure I hope everyone who wants it gets to experience it.  Amy and Garrett are the sweetest people.  So kind and nice, never making you feel unwelcome.  They are perfect for each other in so many ways and I'm beyond happy they are husband and wife.  I was basically sobbing as Garrett walked down the isle with his little girl Riley, and then a wreck by the time Amy came down with her adorable dad.  I was sweating, crying and had no tissues.  A hot mess.  But I was happy!  And you could see happiness all around you, it was contagious.

a certain someone was trying to smuggle her way into the wedding with us
my date!
Their wedding was at an olive oil ranch.  It was beautiful in every way.
And this little hottie is getting married in less than a month!!  I'm way too excited!

Sunday came with more hot weather and we took to the beach, making the most out of our Sunday.  It was the perfect day.  We relaxed and snacked on fruit, played in the sand and water and spent time with good friends.  We ended the night with a BBQ and talking all things wedding, honeymoons, and the silly things Quinne does.  It's moments like these that make me beyond happy.  The littlest details in life that add up to something so big.  Having people you can count on, being able to enjoy a simple dinner with the setting sun, watching your friends love your baby, I could go on and on but then I'd start crying.  I wish the weekend could go on just a little while longer.  One more day to be reminded of how great our life really is.
